Briefing: At 11:18 am EST a mayday call was received from VH-ABK indicating total engine failure and would attempt an emergency landing.  A second call was made at 11:21 am EST, no further reports or sightings have been made.

Task: Utilise the Information at Hand to determine the target & search area. Log a flight plan and begin your search.

Report: Contact Air Traffic Control when you have found the rescue site so a rescue/recovery can be initiated. 

 This report must include:

 #1  Number and medical condition of each persons

 #2  The location of rescue site eg. distance and bearing from a known location

 11:21 - mayday ABK cannot find suitable area to land near lake edge, trying to aim for the road nearby
 No contact was made with the aircraft after 11:21
