Introducing New Zealand! This session we will be flying into the little known territory of New Zealand. The journey South from Auckland Int will take us into Hamilton, down the coast to New Plymouth, Palmerston North and should finish off in Nelson, after a few stops along the way.Flight Plan: Auckland (NZAA) - Hamilton (NZHN) - New Plymouth (NZNP) - Palmerston North (NZPM) - Paraparaumu (NZPP) - Wellington (NZWN) - Woodbourne (NZWB) - Nelson (NZNS) Download FSX Flight Plan - VFR-IFR World Tour.zip save to your My Documents/Flight Simulator X Files folder and load into your flight planner Route: NZAA - NZHN - NZNP - NZPM - NZPP - NZWN - NZWB - NZNS ATC: Christchurch Control [118.75] Auckland Tower [118.70] New Plymouth Tower [124.70] Wellington Tower [118.80] Nelson Tower [127.40] Christchurch Control [118.75]
You will depart Auckland under the watch of Auckland Tower, once airbourne you will contact Christchurch Control and be guided into Hamilton (still remaining on CH Control freq). Then depart Hamilton, head out to the coast under VFR conditions and track down to New Plymouth where New Plymouth Tower will guide you into the airport. Once airbourne you will then contact Christchurch Control, once again and fly down towards Palmerston North. Then, a small hop to Paraparaumu (still on CH freq) then off to Wellington where you will get an ILS/DME approach on Runway 16. Wellington Tower will issue you with this approach and once grounded you will depart for Woodbourne. Once again, as you are airbourne contact Christchurch Control. CH Control will vector you into Woodbourne, and then to Nelson where CH Control will hand you off to Nelson Tower.
We may not get through all of this, but lets hope we can atleast have a bit of fun on the way.

Additional Info: - The past few days of weather reports have showed us that we can expect a southerly breeze, which favours our journey South. It is your responsibility as a pilot to get the required charts. - SID = Standard Instrument Departure - Christchurch Control will handle all aircraft in the air. At all uncontrolled aerodromes call up Christchurch Control for your clearance, switch back to the airports traffic frequency, annouce taxi etc, then once in the airbourne contact Christchurch Control once again.
