Your Responsibilities
The property owner is responsible for the maintenance of the fire and water services to your property. In an emergency where the fire services are required it is paramount that these services operate effectively.
- Your water provider is responsible for the main water and up to the location of the valve.
- The property owner is responsible for the service beyond the valve - regardless of the line of the edge of their title.
If your water provider does find damage, they will issue a notice for you to get the repairs completed by a complying plumber within a week.
Total Fire & Water have specialty staff with the required accreditation to complete your fire service repairs.
